Info on purchasing an 02 325xi

I found an 02 325xi to buy and would like to know what I should look for and questions I should ask when going to buy it. This is the first BMW I will be hopefully buying. Looks good; check to see if the center differential has been serviced. That's often over looked on AWD cars.

That and the cooling system. They are the weak link on the BMW 3 Series unfortunately do check for all the service records and see of the thermostat housing, water pump, coolant expansion tank has ever been replaced. They were all made of plastic and prone to failure with age. The average failure area is te 100,000 mile mark. So with that you have about 15,000 left till you have to worry. A coolant system upgrade can cost about $400-500 or so.

As Above matey... Have a test-drive (cold engine) and listen for abnormalities such as suspension knocks and ropey gearing etc...
ALSO, double-check that EVERYTHING works - Electrics etc...
