I own a 1997 328i BMW thats super clean! and ive always got questions about it and im sure my brother who is a mechanic for BMW gets tired of all my questions so im glad to be asking around

So my reason for the thread is i have a problem with my IHKA. i will have the fan on about half way and after driving a bit the screen on it will darken and it will completely freeze up being completely inaccessable. its annoying when it freezes on 90 degrees when it is hot out.. its very annoying. I had my brother re-salder some of the points but today i was driving and it helped but it still freezes... any suggestions? thanks
