Im a new member with a question for the group

I have a 08 335i convertible. (First BMW ever owned.) It has had 3 fuel pumps replaced so far and 11 fuel injectors. First FP was about 18 months after purchase when I had 11K miles. The car is running rough again with long crank time and I fear its going to be back in the shop again soon for 4th FP! The dealership recommended I contact BMW and ask about a buy back, which I did. Buy back dept said they would get back to me in 7-10 business days, which should be in the next couple of days. Has anyone had experience with a buy back? How does it work? What should I expect? Is there anything I should say or NOT say in dealing with them? Any info anyone has would be real helpful.

Thats definitley suprising to see you go through that many fuel pumps.


Ive never gone through the process, but make sure you pay attention to all the paperwork they give you. Long story short, they will cut you a cheque and take the car.

1997 BMW 318i 1.9L : CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON (SECOND TRIP) WITH CODE P0203;
COMPUTER ALLREADY REPLACED (WATER CONTAMINATION)FUEL INJECTOR#3 REPLACED, WIRES AT INJECTORS CHECKED "OK"- RESISTANCE AT INJECTORS CHECKED "OK"17 ohms -SIGNAL AT THE INJECTOR 7.69 v (BETWEN WIRES)
POSITIVE WIRE AT THE INJECTOR AND GROUND 13.6 v , spark plugs and wires replaced-
car is running fine with good power. somebody has been with this problem?
i need to pass smog this month. how this injection system work, is sequencial injection,
or pulse by pairs, or pulse by all, any help will be apreciatted . thank's in advance
