Due to an unfortunate accident with my 97 Acura 3.2TL, I had to look for a new (used) car. I found a seller that took excellent care of the 98 528i he was selling and the price was right so I couldn't say no. Besides, it is black on black and I think that looks very cool. I haven't made many changes. Just a few maintenance things here and there. I would like to get black rims, devil eyes and change the console where the car phone was to something functional.

Get some facelift headlights, it changes the presence of the car dramatically. I'm having trouble seeing in the pic, does it have shadowline trim? When you say devil eyes, are you referring to angel eyes, or specifically the red angel eyes? I don't personally like the colored led angel eyes except for soft blue maybe or the new titanium sliver, anything that is white to hid is good, but it is your decisions, just be sure to share pictures when you get them!

I agree, a soft blue or white will do nicely. I don't think red is my thing. I'm not that flashy I'm also considering changing the bulbs on the inside to a blue shade. That would be nice but hopefully not too much.
Here's a better picture. I will take more with my digital cam instead of using my phone.
RoadsterMadness - Those are 2 sweet rides you got there! You are absolutely right! The 5 series is the way to go for me I need new rims too since the coat is chipping on mine. Someone mentioned having them repainted and sprayed with polyurethane to save $. Any suggestions?

I would look into Beyern rims. The make a great product especially for BMW's and have some great choices including black. I saw my first on a 5er and HAD to have them!

Good, I don't think the red angel eyes are flashy' in my opinion they are tacky. But to each his own. And I was only asking because generally the red angel eyes are referred to as devil/demon eyes by a lot of people so I was just clarifying what you were meaning. Enjoy the 5!
