HaHa, I've been waiting to pick up my first BMW and finally got what I wanted; a 93 E36 318i. Well.. almost what I wanted. An s on the end with the DOHC would have been way nicer, but at least I know what the first major project will be.
Speaking of which... any feedback on switching out the M43 for a M44. I think the M42 would swap out nicely, but what electronic differences are there between the M44 and 42? Is it a matter of a new ECU.. which I will probably want anyway... or something larger?
I'm gonna get some pics in of my ride now since it is a bare canvas, nothing.. lol, it even has steel wheels!! You all can track the progess over the next year and provide any tips you want.
