| How to swap out HK amp in e46 M3 with aftermarket amp?
Hello everyone,
First time posting a thread, so here goes. My amp has a problem and I can either replace it or get an aftermarket amp. But, it doesn't look that simple. I'm not going to use the HK subwoofers, I'm using an Infinity Basslink II which I can get a signal from the front and/or rear speakers since it has it's own amp. So, I can use a 4 channel amp. I've upgraded the door and rear shelf speakers to Rainbows, which sound awesome. I want the components to sit in the same area as the current amp. I removed the cd changer so there is room there too. I'm keeping the stock head unit/nav. Without reinventing the wheel, what is the most straightforward way to do this? |
