if you have your mechanic on it im sure hell figure it out soon... there are alot of reasons for it not to crank... and if he can not figure it out soon then it must be something that i would not even be able to diagnose over the internet.

Did you take it to a just random of the mill shop or to the local BMW dealership? the BMW techs are trained to work on just BMW so they would prob be your best bet.

Best of luck

Hi,
Its me again. My 94 318is coupe is still in the shop. mechanic told me that the car has started but the sound of the car is not good or normal... i think he doesnt know much about bmw as i am. i think he is also guessing.... told him find the problem and fix it asap.

so now, saw an add at the news paper for a 91 BMW 320i convertible selling it cheap.. My eyes got big and went to see it. Minor problems nothing big. it seems that the owner didnt care about the car.. (poor baby) made an offer (1200)and bought it.

Now i have 2 bmw, 1 in the shop and the one i bought which i use now... does anyone out there has a service manual for my new baby bimmer??
