Firstly, Hi
Well, I guess like the other guys I was google searching for information. My 318i failed the MOT on points that I'd not worked on before and I needed info.
There is a lot of confusing info out there !!! For example, what isthe proper torque for the front wheel bearings of my car ? *s*
Regards, ow1ie

Wink NewbieNH

Hey there,
Just surfing the net one day.I think this is one of the better BMW sites.i have a 2001 325i sedan with 5 spd. I brought in July 2002 30,000 miles one owner, now has 68,000 miles. No major problems, now ready for a set of tires. I do not like the conti's that are now own the car. Any suggestion?
My grandaughter name it Zorro for the way it cuts thought the night.Pa everybodys has a SUV. We need a car that goes. Her late grandmother had a 97 540 siler sedan 5 spd called it Smoke. And the lady make it smoke.
Glad to be a member.

Only decent forum next to Benzworld!

Hey Kids!
I joined this site because it is a related forum to Benzworld. Also, digging through other sites were frustrating and difficult to search. ANY help in suggesting other avenues of research would be greatly appreciated.
I bought a 1985 Mercedes-Benz 500 SEC Euro that I'm in the middle of restoring. The car sat for 10 years outside (no rust thankfully!), needs wood, and leather restoration, as well as a repaint due to DEAD paint!
A co-worker has given me an abandoned 1995 318iC convertible missing the detonated cylinder head (due to too much nitrous no2), and most of the front end. I'm going to have to go through the Illinois hell of abandoned vehicle acquirement, as well as coming up with a used/rebuilt engine, amongst other parts. Its not going to be cheap. I will most likely need some mechanical and body parts to put this disaster back together.
Wish me luck, if you would.
I have a profile on Benzworld as well under the same user name.
Thanks in advance for your help and support!!

Hi from a newbie...

Saw a link for this site somewhere in my cyber-travels checking out the '07 335i Coupe...and since I ordered one, thought I might as well learn what I can from all of you Bimmer owners!

Discoveries...

Met someone online giving me advice from an online company selling BMW parts. Told me to check a few forums that would be of help. He gave this one as well.

This site looks great.
