I'd like to start off by saying hello to every one, so.. hi.
now that that's over. i guess i should talk a little about my self and my car.
Well i'm a US Marine stationed in CA. I recently purchased a '92 bmw 318is. it's not the fastest or the greatest but it's got plenty of room for me to do what i want with it. the only trouble is, this is my first bmw so hopefully this site can help me atleast some.
the first thing i'm taking care of is the suspension. The imbicile that i purchased the car from decided to throw dropped springs on it without changing the shocks or any of that. so when i hit a bump it sounds like i'm bottoming out and when i make a hard turn or counter steer, my tires rub on my fenders. NOT GOOD. so here very soon i will be getting some tein coil overs and completely remove the old suspension. after that i have a bit of a delima as to drop an m3 engine in it or if i should just stick with the engine i have now and do lots of bolt ons and engine work.
any way i suppose all that should be left to another thread and i should leave you guys alone now. So, with that.
