Just joined this site,,,,, i've a 97 540i in le mans blue.... 17" bbs.... apart from a M5 body kit it's standard..... i love it! mind you at 10p per litre and open dual carriageways over the whole kingdom i'd be mad not to ..... 4 months and 20,000KM later....

First service has cost me £1000..... but there was a lot of work done and the labour charge of £5 per hour helped keep the cost down.

I'd like to chip it to get rid of the limiter but no rolling roads to set the car up so i will just have to put up with it.... mind you Aquaba to Taif.... 1300Km in 9 1/2 hours it's probably fast enough.... Harry
