 Hi from Newbie
Hi everybody,
A recent loss of job meant that the company car has gone and the proverbial belt has been shifted to it's last hole. Part of the process has been to get a cheap car (too cold to ride the bike) so with much trepidation I typed in £1000 in the max box on ebay and 25 miles as max radius. The result is a 1995 316i compact with 76k and FSH (and some change). It's the first time in 20 years I haven't had a new or newish car. I wish I'd learned sooner! Driving is more relaxed and because I'm treating the car with respect out of deferance to it's age and I think I'm driving more considerately than I have in years.
It will be with some reluctance that I will part with this car at some time in the future and when I do it will be for another older BMW without a doubt. Keeping any spare cash to for a WSB replica BMW bike!
So hopefully I'll be around for a while enjoying this great site. |
