Just a quick note to say Hi

Joined up on Sunday after needing a bit of help which I gratefully got from Brettski and Dabsys many thanks guys.

I've got a 2003 BMW 320i - 2002cc 6cyl.
and I love it love it love it

Me and the better half got married around your neck of the woods, Peebles, or Traquair House to be precise, back in 1997.

Very scenic part of the world

Yeah small world right enough. Peebles is a bit South from here - we are up in the highlands of Scotland whereas peebles is more central belt. Thats a long way to come and get married or were you residing in the uk at the time

My (now) wife and I were living together for 7 years in Australia, she decided that she wanted to do a tour through Europe, so I said that I'd only do that if we go married in Scotland whilst we were over there. Our only common ancestory is Scottish (both paternal grandmothers came from Scotland Trenent & Muirkirk). So we got married at Traiquir house with the heirs to the scottish throne as our witnesses. Took about 2 weeks to organise the whole thing (over a period of months), and was really good, alhough we had no other family or friends present.
We came back to Australia for our honeymoon and have been on it ever since.

Please note I said "on it" as opposed to "at it"
