Just wanted to introduce myself. I just bought an 1989 535i about a month ago and never knew what i was missing. I can see now why they say BMW is the ultimate driving machine. Even though she is 20 years old and 186000 miles on her she still drives better then anything i've ever driven. I believe I will never own another vehicle unless it is built by BMW. My bimmer is black/w tan interior.
We used to have a 90 5sp with the same color combo you have w/ 265k miles. Sad to say, but it drove a lot better and was a lot quicker than my one with 165k.

Welcome to the 'Werkz! Glad to hear that you now know why there are so many of us Bimmer heads. I drive a 23 year old 325, and I absolutely freakin' love it.
