hi Everybody

Im a 20 year old male who has just purchased a 1999 528i from my work. So far i love this car..I went from a Ford Zx2 to a bmw. I was wondering how the general maintence is? Also, do I HAVE to use the 93 petrol, or can I use 91 with octane boost?
Thanks and im looking forward to being an active member of this forum with the rest of you fine people.

Cool

general maintenance is the same as any car... and your car should be fine with mid-grade gas 89 octane.... unless of course, the car you have has been modified to run only with 93 octane.

to the werkz

Thanks for the welcomes. I dont think my car has been modded to use 93 petrol. Some little old lady had the car before i did so i dont think she did any modding lol
