Thanks but this instruction does not apply to my car.
I have 2008 328i 2 door Hardtop Convertible.
Someone said I may have to access the fog light housing from behind inside the wheel well liner. There has to be specific steps that I must follow.

Nope. The owner's manual does not tell you how.

No there isn't I just downloaded it from BMWUSA and it has very vague instructions on most of the lights. But you get this lovely snippet from them.

"If the routine for changing a particular bulb is not described here, please contact your BMW center or a workshop that works according to BMW repair procedures with corespondingly trained personell."

I'll keep my eye out though if I find something for ya john.

This is good...
For same car (2008 328i 2 Door Hardtop Convertible), wanna change the LED Ring Light.
I think this can be replaced under the hood but not sure. Any recommendations ?
