I traded my 1997 Dodge RamVan for my dad's 1987 325 in May of last year. He salvaged the car from a junkyard about 5 years ago and replaced a lot of parts and revamped a majority of the electrical in the car before deciding he really liked my van, and my mom didn't want to drive his project car anymore.
I love my Beamer, except the color, but that will change once I scrape up enough cash to get her repainted.
I've been tinkering with cars and motorcycles since I was about 14 and this is by far the easiest vehicle to work on (the fuel filter took all of five minutes to replace...yay!) EXCEPT for when you drop something down the engine compartment and it doesn't fall all the way to the ground.
I love this forum and I'm really glad I finally joined. I've been browsing here for the last 6 months or so.
Haha, photos. Yes, I will take some photos probably this weekend. By the time I get home from work it is already dark outside. There's not much to see, it's a pretty normal looking 325 with fading paint and peeling clear coat...but it is brown, and that is going to eventually change.
