Hey everyone my name is Billy devonshire I am 20 years old and am also new to bmw. I got my first. Car today which I saved from a scrapyard I now own an 1985 525e she isn't impressive yet but with some time hopefully I can fix her up......anyone with parts please help
Feel free to post pictures. We will do our best to help with any questions you may have. I do recommend going to the 5 Series Forum and downloading the Haynes Service Manual. The E30 Haynes manual covers a lot of the 525 as well.
I think that you can develop a real emotional bond with a car that you work on personally, especially if you have saved it from a seemingly premature end.
