hey im new, need help!

hey guys im new to the bmw thing here, im looking at getting a 94 bmw 318i 5speed because gas it too much, love the car but it has high km's 275000, is that pushing it for the 4cyl engine? are they reliable around there? im scared to buy it only for it to be full of issues, it seems to run pretty nice the idle dropps every now and then though.

Does it have good, complete service records?

not that i know of i heard the engines are notorious fro blowing head gaskets??? if i was to do one estimated how much would it cost? (shop) the car seems to run good, there alittle bit of oil in the front right side of car dont know where its coming from

if it had a total history, and looked like it had been loved it might be a good buy at a reasonable price. By reasonable I mean cheap and very cheap

Hi mate sounds a bit high mileage wise maybe if it were a bigger engine with full history, but would still be wary.
