Hey guys and gals,

Im liam, im from brisbane Australia, i own a e36 95/96 318i/s, its a 4dr sedan 318i 95 model with a 96 M42 engine which is y i put the /'s in it lol,

well its painted, kitted, lowered, sound system so far

ive got alot more additions 2 make 2 it, im aiming 4 at least makin this car a very track worthy car that will give alot of things a run 4 their money.

any help on mods and sites and where to get things would b greatly appriciated. thanks heaps. liam

Welcome to the Werkz. Nice car, not my cup of tea honestly but it is clear you are passionate about it and that is what matters. You will like it here, plenty of help to be had.

Welcome! If yo want to track the car definitely look into some coilovers. It's your best bet for tuning the car to the track and also gives you the ability to adjust for the street as well. Also, front strut brace is a must as well as it will stiffen the chassis significantly. You may also want to look into chaning your bushings as well. There are plenty of upgrade kits for the E36. Personally, I'm a fan of powerflex.

well ya im gettin coil overs soon but am still huntin round as its kinda hard 2 find any with a name i reconise over here, and ive done my bushes got the best i could find lol but will look at doin again soon, and im after a new strut brace mines slowly bendin lol cheap 1 aye lol. but thanks if u no of any sites that sells and will post over here that would b great.

Turner Motorsport can likely international ship. Their international number is 011 978 388-7769. I'll see what else I can find.

In terms of coil overs there is KW, Bilstein, Koni, Tein, H&R.

hey i live up in townsville and ive found a site that delivers ova here to australia its myhotbmw.com u will find alot of stuff there but shipping might be aproblem, bout 200 it will cost me for a body kit on top of the body kit price from them i dont kno if it gets cheaper the more u but or anything like that but is worth a check, also i wanted to ask u is there decent car paint specialists in brisbane im looking to paint my car when i get the body kit and there is no one in townsville

With coilovers you're going to want adjustable control arms in the rear and adjustable camber plates for the front. Unfortunately, coilovers make everything a little bit more complicated.

Very nice man. I'm usually not a fan of stripes or two tone schemes, but with black wheels and the M3 bumper, your car pulls it off well.

thanks ppl, ya the funny thing is the rims r stock 16" rims that came with the car lol and ya the 2 tone was a random idea i had when i was paintin her lol but ya turned out pretty good, im gonna get it show quality painted when i get more money lol,

ya ive already got the rear chamber arms lol fitted them not long after i lowered her, i kept goin thru rear tyres spes runnin 245's lol.

darksigno, ummmmm i can try and find some1 there 4 ya im currently down in viccy due 2 bein in the navy lol but ive still got mates up there so ill find out 4 ya and let ya no aye.

but ya thanks guys its not very often i get complimented on my car, ppl normally pay it out coz its a bmw lol but ya i think they r beautiful cars alone, and ya this is only the start im wantin a show quality when im done and maybe make a few mags as well.

ok thanks mate, also wat about performace mechanics, up here in townsville there is no one that can do work on it so i have to do it myself but if somethin bad go wrong while im doing it brisbane wont be to far away to get it there and looked at

hey mate umm i dont no any performance places down in brissy that will do bmw's i found it pretty hard aye but if ya just do some search's online u might b able 2 come up with somethin aye.

well update on the cars status, i got fully adjustible coilovers 4 her and will b fittin this weekend yay and also lookin at a turbo kit 4 her just 4 some extra punch and got new injectors as well they flow more fuel hehe, then next weekend will hopefully be my exhaust system as well finally lol well there u go ppl.
