Hey guys Im about to be new to the BMW world as Im checking out a '95 318is this afternoon-I posted a thread in the E36 forum.
Anyways Im a GM guy that just got here to Germany a few wks back. My Vette wont be here for another month plus I needed something to drive when the weather starts to turn anyways.

Ive got a '88 Corvette. I test drove the Bmw sunday and its in pretty good condition-I hope to have it by the weekend.

A few ?'s. Do these cars have a position for the key where its just for accessories? I mean where you turn it the opposite way. I tried but the ignition switch just spins. Also its got a kenwood excelon headunit which was working fine but I unplugged my ipod and now it locked the headunit and just flashes "protected" on the screen. Any ideas on how to unlock it?

There is on back turn for accessories. The first forward click is typically for that (no ignition connect).
