Help!!!!!!

I have 98 540i the trans seals where replaced. Ever sence then the car would not start frm the key. I know 4 a fact its not a batt or starter problem. i was told that the car has to reprogramed by the dealer.

check the connection on your transmission lock-out switch... may not have benn reconnected correctly after repairs on tranny were made ;-)

it's that switch that dsnt make a car start unless it is in P or N
