The important details:
March 1995 BMW E36 316i, which according to realoem.com has the M43 motor in it. Its also manual and burgundy in colour. I still can't believe we're cruising in a BMW! Not bad since the previous car was a Daewoo Cielo haha. We got the BMW on trade-in for (AUD) $4,800 + the car and 12 months dealer warranty
The BMW has been an absolute pleasure to drive, having only owned it since Friday 2:30pm! (2 days ago our time haha)
The less important details:
I'm Daniel, from Australia!
I plan to get some pics of the car up, I just haven't had time as yet
The problems we've found so far (all wear and tear issues, which is conveniently not covered by warranty)
- The clutch is FUBAR'd!
- The idler pulleys need replacing
- The a/c needs re-gasing
- Needs new brake pads
- Reverse switch seems broken (globes are fine, but reverse lights don't come on)
- And needs a major service
Progress:
Ordering a factory replacement clutch from Clutch Industries tomorrow (Monday) and going to ring BMW about the idler pulleys as I can't find an aftermarket version, hopefully it won't cost too much

Than going to get the car fully serviced and new brakes when the clutch gets installed. Than hopefully she'll be smooth as a baby's bottom to drive
