Hello There

Hi everybody!

Just figured I'd introduce myself. I'm 17 and reside in the lovely ill-weathered state of Illinois--will be getting my first car when I return from vacation this year, and top on my list of choices for things to look for is a late 90's 3-series (but I won't pass up a 5-series if I find a deal).

My BMW kick got started when I was little--my grandparents both always had a brand new BMW in their garage, never had one for more than a few years. After I moved away from the beautiful state of California, it was reignited by my dad who brought home a 540i one day. Unfortunately that was sold a few years ago.

Anyway, I have quite a bit to learn I'm sure, so I'd appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks!

I live in the Plainfield/Joliet area of Illinois--a bit over an hour out of Chicago on a good day.

I lived all over Cali, I'm actually in Redding on vacation right now. Right before I moved to Illinois I lived in Livermore, though. Pleasanton, Novato, and a few others if I recall as well.
