Hi All,

Glad to be here. I'm a 25 year old from Sydney. About 8 or 9 months ago i bought my first Bimmer.

It's a 1985 323i, and i LOVE it. Have aftermarket Zender 15" Rims (which i am considering selling, if anyone is interested, let me know!) and a lowered suspension pack.

The Car handles like a dream, and with some slight exhaust mods goes hard now!

While i have your attention (i hope i do), im looking for potential engine conversions / turbo kits to get the power up around 200-220 kW.

Anyone know a reasonably priced option? For a turbo kit with front mount intercooler inc all fabrication, the turbo, the intercooler and the labor i was quoted around 5-7k.

Any advice is MASSIVELY appreciated. i love this car, and want it to become a real weapon!

Any ideas about my power queries? Im thinking maybe a s50b32 conversion, but has to be set up for RHD, and im a bit scared about labor costs because i definitely cant do this myself!

I would take the time to research it completely. It's no small job.

Welcome to the Werkz from one new member to another new member. The S50B32 is not an easy conversion. A lot of stuff has to be moved around and sometimes space becomes very tight. If you can find someone who has done it before it might make it a bit easier.

yeah it seems as though it might be a bit too complicated, and the power output would probably end up being more than i need (is that possible!)

What mods would other forumheads suggest to get power up around the 200-220kW mark?
