Hello everyone, brand new to the forum and looking forward to hearing from. I just bought a 1982 320i, with a 5 speed manual. Its been in Arizona since it was new and other than needing new paint and some very minor body work, its in pretty good shape. It has some issues that I will post for help with. Thanks all for sharing your expertise.

Yes, a work in progress. I am also going to be using it a daily driver. I plan to "restore" it. New paint, complete new interior, etc. First things first though, I want to get it mechanically sound and running like new. I bought it from the original owners grandson. He disconnected the AC and removed the AC condenser, which I have. Manual windows and manual crank sunroof. Odometer and tripmeter do not work, radio does not work.

Any thoughts or input on this model would be greatly appreciated.

TBH the wiring loom should be already there if you want to retrofit anything...
BMW had the idea of mass producing looms instead of different option looms, which would need extra employees/departments LOL
