I just bought an E30 316 with Solex 2bE carb thinking of restoring it. It has ab M10 engine with 5 spees manual tranny. As car was near seaside house and didn;t saw road for past 2 years. I finally manage to start it as it has a faulty rotor arm and swinging distributor. Fix them both. Now i am fixing electricals (as most of stuffs are jam) and then I will give it to body shop for corrosive floor pan repairs.

During my endeavor to find about the car I found this forum website to be one the best place where you can find about information regarding bimmer

Anyway I want to say Hello to everyone and I am a newbie to bimmer as ppl mostly buy Japanese cars over here and have very little knowledge any german cars. Few ppl who does will drain your pockets.
