Hello! New From OC, CA

BMW's I WOULD TOTALLY PICK AN M6 OVER ANY AUDI! lol

Hello im Ish,

Well i currently own a 92 bmw 325i and recently had a terrible accident during raining season..i spun out on the freeway complete 360 and slammed the rear end into the center divider..no others were harmed thank god but now i am stuck with my beautiful black bimmer underconstruction. Up until now i have found another bmw with no engine but it is a 93 5 speed and mine is a 92 automatic.. i am very excited about driving the 5 speed..i plan on swapping my 92's engine since its perfectly fine and under 100k miles into the 93 5 speed..i hope all goes well... anny suggestions on any obstacles i might face i would gladly appreciate it if i could be informed..otherwise i cant wait to get started.

Welcome to the Werkz.

I am no expert on this side of things, but assuming that you are simply doing a straight (like for like) engine swap there shouldn't be any insurmountable problems. I won't be offended (or surprised) if someone comes in on a later post and totally blows this out of the water, but good luck either way.
