hello just joined

got a 99 3 series. is a k&n cold air induction a good idea cause i hear it messes up some foreign vehicles performance

Welcome to Bimmerwerkz...... Cold Air Intakes do not mess up a vehicles performance.....what gets messed up is the MAF sensor, when you over oil the filter after cleaning it. AFE Cold Air Intakes have a great option, an oil free filter called pro-dryS. I have had both oil & dry & I have never had a problem with either.......... Nothing but increased performance !
