Hi my name is Andrew, im 20 years old and i own a 1987 e30 325 M20B27. I've owned this car for a little over a year now and i didnt really know much about cars before i owned this one.
I've had to replace the water pump twice, i believe the first one might have been defective or i messed up installing it. I replaced the rotor and distributor when i changed my water pump and gained a significant increase in performance, it made me very happy lol.
I haven't had any major problems with it until about two weeks ago it started stalling randomly when im driving and let off the gas(i know this isnt the right area to post for answers, im not trying to get answers right now im still doing troubleshooting and research before i start asking, its probably been asked before). at first i thought it was my fuel system giving me trouble but now that Ive done a little research its probably my cam sensor, i will post on the proper section when im ready.
I really don't know too much about cars, ive always been more of a computer person, but im a quick learner, ive learned very much about my car in the past week, I've learned that the Chilton manuals are basically useless lol
P.S. I seriously know this isnt the section to post for answers plz dont bash me on that, im just trying to give people an idea of where im standing with my car lol i WILL be posting later in the proper section about my car |
