hello everyone,great to be here.
i'm thinking of getting back into a BMW. i've had many cars and bikes over the years but as far as BMW i've had a R100RS bike,a gray market E21 323i and a 1st gen M3 which i stupidly sold,it was probably the most fun to drive car i've ever had,even compared with an old air cooled porsche 911 i had too.
i'm a DIYer and i'm here to learn and help if i can. i'm looking for something to have fun and offset a bit of a mid-life crisis,lol. i love older cars that are still easy to work on and,right now,it's between a MB W124 400E/E420 or an E34 540i but i need it to warm up the blood,so the bimmer could be the better bet.
i've had so many 4 and 6 cylinder cars it's not even funny,so i really want a V8(more for the sound than anything else). there're so many modern 4 and 6 cylinder cars that are much faster but i'm not "boy racer" any more so i don't really care. it's all about me,myself and i.
