My name is Eric, im 19 and live in the shittiest town you could possibly imagine. Im a Cali native but moved here because of Military transfer. I currently own a 1987 BMW 325i which used to be an E model until the engine blew and a I model engine was swapped in.
Ive owned this car for about 2 weeks now and i have only driven it once... It has a bunch of minor little problems because of the swap such as, the tach doesnt work (E model cluster), the passenger side window wont roll down, the oil light stays on even though i have good oil pressure AND i just did a full tune-up. But i know all older BMW's have their quarks and im perfectly happy with what i have.
Before i moved to Missouri i had a 1983 BMW 733i as my first car. That thing was a TANK. But it was my best choice as a first car. Everything was solid, it had no issues what so ever and it lasted me all the way until the day i sold it.... What a sad day that was.
But now im here to enjoy the forum and get help with the little things. |
