I just signed onto this site. I own a 95 325I convertible. I will be resourceing the wheel information. I am in R.I. near Newport but on the mainland for any of you Beemer owners near by. Anyone is welcome to contact me at Nibornej@cox.net. My thing is restoring muscle cars and have a six bay shop attached to my house. But i love the bmw and just purchased some seventeen inch wheels and they rub, a story that has probably been played out on here for a long time. Found a broken rear spring with the last coil and a half still on the lower perch rattleing around and am hoping that new springs will help lift the rear and give me enough to clear without rolling the fenders. Maybe someone knows something about taller rear springs. The front have about two inches clearance and the back have about 3/8". In any event i will post this to the appropriate forum and hopefully will get some results. Thanx for any help in advance,
to werkz. I too dig the older cars, I have a 72 Chevelle and a 32 Ford. I know on the rear of my Chevelle, the factory springs were so wore out, when I installed my 2" Eibach lowering springs, it actually raised the car up about 1-1.5" in the rear, .5" or so in the frront, lol. We have a bunch of knowledgable people and are more than willing to help. Again, welcome...
