I just purchased my first car, and it's a BMW. I am really excited, it's a 2004 525i and I got it for a DD. From what I read, they seem to be pretty reliable. I travel to and from work in mixed conditions so I needed something with good mpg. I got offered an extended service contract for $2500 but I think I'm going to decline. The car has 94k on it and it currently is CPO active and expires in Nov.
Thats what I was thinking, the previous owner had the maintenance plan, so they're replacing my rear tires and also giving me new rear brakes, which I hear can be expensive. The pp was $14,800 from a franchise dealer. Sounds pretty solid and I figured it was worth it....
