I'm glad to have found a great BMW forum.
I live out in Baltimore and work in DC. I put some wear and tear on my cars.
My first car ever was a 86' 635CSi, blue and peeling. I loved it all the way up until a 92 year old ran head on into it at about 60mph. Though the left wheel was almost in the dash, I was completely unharmed even in a mid-80s car.
BMW had made a customer for life.
I have worked on some e30s through out my youth. I had a 318ti that had 635k before I finally caved in and traded it. And I currently own an 98' 328i Convertible that is causing repairs I don't really have the time to keep up with. I still love it. Just nickel and dime stuff at its 10th year of age. My first convertible. Live and learn.
In less than 2 months I'll be looking to trade. And I think it will be for a slightly used Z4.
