Welcome to werkz! I like your attitude -- using the pirate t.i.a. smiley on your very first post makes me think you'll fit right in.

What BMW did you get? Please share any pictures that you have (either in this thread or in the Showroom).

Now we know your budget, so we can help you out with advice from that point of view. What other things are you looking for? Will you be ready to pour money into it for tuning, modding, and racing?

Ci is coupe or convertible.
xi is all-wheel drive sedan or wagon

Are you looking for a sedan, coupe, convertible, or wagon? Do you want/need all-wheel drive?

The 328 models were made for the 1999 and 2000 model year only. For the coupe, only in 2000. Being a first year model, I would try to avoid the 328Ci coupe, because manufacturers never get all the bugs out on the first try.

The 330 models have a 3.0 liter engine rated at 225 hp and 211 lb-ft trq. The 328 models were equipped with a 2.8 liter at 190 hp and 206 lb-ft trq.

Hope this helps.

Feel free to browse around and search our site. Very likely, we have threads that will answer most of your questions. Personally, I like to read the reviews put together by car magazines and sites like endmunds and consumerguide.com. Another great resource is wikipedia -- search BMW E46. If you still can't find what you need, feel free to let us know.
