hello to all
... i'm new to this "culture" and eager to learn. i have alot of ?'s, so feel free to help a brotha out. my homie bought an 00 audi A6 2.7t, which has pretty good acceleration/ pick-up(thanks to the twin turbos). i wanted to one-up him... so i went out and bought an 00 M5. because im a police officer, i never really drove fast( unless i was in a pursuit), but now i can't seem to keep it under 100mph. the car does it soo easily, and effortless. i know the car is made for performance, but i wanna make sure i dont have any problems... so pls offer advise on what maintenances to get done on the reg, and what kinda problems i might encounter.

Your new baby is an amazing vehicle, and one with many tuning possibilities (eg adding a supercharger, turbo (or a few!), better suspension, exhaust, new high performance ECU chip to remove the factory limiters on RPM and top speed, etc etc.

And if you want to fly, feel free, just take your new baby to the track so you're safe and so is everyone and everything else, including your job. Bimmers :Bimmer tend to be sooo smooth that you look up and you;re suddenly at 100mph plus. Nice problem to have.

Just make sure you get your new car worked up and in great shape, and then keep it that way!
