Greetings from Finland - BMW Forum

First off let me start by saying Moi (hello) to everyone. My name is Scott, I'm a Michigan native who has taken up residence in Finland. I can't seem to get enough of the cold stuff.

I came across this site in a google search and it's been pure entertainment since.

I own a black,"94" 518i Touring, which I bought a month or so ago. This will be my little project over the next couple years, in order to keep my sanity.

Here are a couple pics with winter wheels, they are like golf shoes, with steel studs in the tread and they work pretty damn good too. I will take some more with summer wheels in a couple days, along with a close up of the winter ones.

We had the same winter tires while staying in Norway. They do work very well; the Honda we had cruised right up the ice covered drive to the apartment. They do cause road ruts on the motorways that fill with water when spring rain comes! Great car!
