G'Day All ... 2008 M3 Convertible Owner

Hi All,
Well ... after a wonderful relationship with my 2005 M3 Convertible, I decided to upgrade to the new 2008 hardtop converible. I've had the car all of 2 weeks and love it. I'm also glad that gas prices have started to drop, as the new V8 drinks gas twice as fast as my I6 did ... But then all of us M3 owners know, we didn't buy this car for gas mileage. I'm interested in novel things of interest with the car, tweaks, hidden options, and what accessories everyone has purchased for their baby.

Thanks for all the responses one and all ... No matter what year ... BMW's are beautiful cars. For anyone else out there that has an 2008 M3, I'd be interested in any tweaks, and easter eggs that the M3, its car computer and Idrive system might have. I've already found one new 'hack' if you will, with regards to the automatically closing side mirrors. By default they close with a button, but there is a new 'fix' that will make them close and open when you lock the car. Need to get my dealership to turn that on apparently, but it might require the adding of the alarm system. I'll be making a call on Monday.

Congrats on such a terrific purchase! I had to buy a house instead, and haven't even yet had the heart to get my depoait back...I do have soMe Sprintime plans, and am glad there are some real enthusiasts enjoying this fabtastic car (I saw so many kids getting them - even the first week - from their parents!
