I'm a guy from Finland who just bought an used 1994 E36 325i. I love it, although it has some minor things I gotta fix and a bit of rust and what you have. Otherwise, it's damn sexy. Looking forward to years of good times with this piece of Bavarian worksmanship.

Thanks, guys! This community really seems great and it's nice that there are so many contributing members. I intend to have a great time here.

I'm really in love with the car even though my girlfriend has developed a love-hate-relationship with it. Every time I'm working under the hood or otherwise tweaking or fixing the car, she comes out every 15 minutes or so to hug me and has that "my boyfriend's working on his car, sexyyy"-face, but every time we drive somewhere she complains her ass off about how the car's gonna explode every minute now, while every time friends are about she's so smug about how his boyfriend has got a Bimmer.

I find it hilarious, hopefully she'll get used to the car so I can get rid of the complaining while keeping the hugs and looks and smugness.

Most women don't understand the relationship between a guy and his car.

See if you can find an Australian movie called "Love The Beast" with Eric Bana, sit down with your girl friend and watch it, it may help her understand what is going on.

Well next time she comes and gives you "that look" when you are working on the car, grab her, put her on the trunk lid, and do some different work on your car.

Why, yes sir! I've sworn myself one day or another I'm gonna have some good times with her in or on the car. I've yet to claim that promise.
