| Finally joined..all kinds of stuff goin on...
Hello fellow owners. I'm am by no means an enthusiast yet, but certainly working on it. I own a 1993 325i manual and working out some bugs in order to sell and upgrade to a 540i6. I've had the car since August of 2006 and the car has been nothing less then great, but I need a bigger car. It is dry as a bone and just recently started having troubles with an eratic idle. Changed the O2 sensor, cleaned the MAF and throttle body, but still do not have steady idle when in neutral and ac/heat is on. Brought it to my mechanic and says it needs a new MAF...ouch$$$$. Any opinions on aftermarket or remanufactured MAF's? Or anything else I could try before purchasing a new MAF?
