E46 Car Memory Programming - BMW Forum

Can anyone please tell me how to access & program the seperate car functions on my E46 2002 320D saloon. Auto door lock, locked indication etc.
Got a pdf file that lists the available functions but not how to gain access to programming mode. I object to paying the main dealer for something I am capable of doing. New to this forum. Thanks Brian.

what programs do you wish to access, and what tools do you currently have to do this???

no offense meant, but it seems hardly useful for anyone to "reprogram" door locks, locked indication, and such...

...by chance, maybe u mean more like re-mapping the ECU for higher HP?.. is that it? :-)

Thanks for your reply. Its just the simply stuff I was after for instance my car gives no visual indication that the car is locked when the key is pressed. I would also like the doors to lock once moving. Extra HP is always welcome if possible.I have no special tools.
