good site guys,

had a few issues with my alpine white 530i sport 94my, just reco stuff but giving it a bit of a lift had it for years great body interior overall fantastic condition happy to drive it as a spare car apart from the parcel shelf's gone pink! so next job get it replaced, starship enterprise k's main dealer history every 10k happy to spend a bit, 18" wheels on order in black with a bit of a dish 9.5's rear full rub and polish should see its glory days again....

had my trimmer remove re-cover and re-install the pink parcel shelf so its black again, and he re-trimmed the armrests as they had also seen better days, wheels next maybe a couple of weeks coming from the states,

she's not bad for a second car but i kinda drive it everday,i love it, i have just gotten rid of my 08my Z4 3l coupe and looking for the next daily driver, but for now i'm happy with this and its getting a bit of love at the same time (helps working for BMW hey!!)

so new PCV, heater relays, brake booster, full service, pulled the interior out vacuumed the debris out scrubbed the leather and treated it all properly whilst it was out, painted the kidney's black when the wheels are here i'll have auto salon in melb cut the be-jesus out of the paint it will look brand new, (has done a meer 297980 fsh BMW Melbourne every 10k, and never missed a beat.....but then it has been cuddled all its life)

will post some pics of my small collection one day, X5 3l sport kid carrier, type3 squareback under full resto, with 911 donk, bit of a sleeper

Welcome to the Werkz! I miss my E34. I am looking at a 540i and a 530i. No dealership here will tell me if either had the Nikasil warranty replacement done or not so I am waiting for that info before I move forward, but hopefully I will have an E34 again soon! Post up some pictures of your E34, I would love to see them as would the others.

luckily i'm second owner, this car is a 94 v8 and aussie delivery so Tropical spec, we get bigger radiators cooloing system etc... we also are behind the 8 ball with fuel, most aussie cars up until recently would not run on ethanol or extreme unleaded fuels so i guess with complete, yes complete compression figures from all cyl's/banks (measured two weeks ago) etc.. i have proper liners i hope.

i guess if the shite liners are 98 my onwards i'm good? if not i'll put another engine in i can get a 540 le with man box if i want to pay for it, but its a third car and maybe does 11kms per day so i'll wait and see

Strut braces aren't necessary on the e34, but you could check out the AC Schnitzer one

right busy week

new waterpump and all hoses/ thermo, and fan pre-tensioner

koni yellows in, turn and a half for now

rocker gaskets both banks

another full cut (gotta love my detailers) and more wax than paint

M5 style 1's (been on for a while)

and the titanium tint (uv99%)

just waiting on the eibach springs, would have loaded them in but bastard waterpump etc.... took precidence

new factory coolant and did the oil too (helps working for BMW)

ordered the front bar brake coolers for the M5 look

now to look for a 4.4 although i found a new 4.8l (new 8k) but cant shut the damn bonnet if i fit it.

so anyone sees a manual 6sp and a good 4.4l im in

Sounds like you are putting a lot of effort into your ride. Where abouts in Melbourne do you recommend for detailing? Are you doing all the mechanical work yourself?
