Hi everybody, my name is Stefan, I'm a resident and taxi dispatcher in the northern Dutch town of Groningen.
The age of 30 is nearer than I like but far from how I feel

I'm now in my second Bimmer, a 1996 cosmos black 323i Executive (LOL) coupe.
Before this car, I owned a 1987 e32 735i, which was -really- a great car, but as my cars in the past have grown heavier, I lost more and more of the fun feel that a car should give imo... so it had to go!
I bought my e36 near stock, all that was there were 17's from an e46 and a M3 front bumper.
I've added coilovers, uprated front brake pads (still need to find time to install braided brake lines), all new front suspension arms/links/etc, M3 cat section and rear muffler (which was a LOT of work, as s50's here have longtube headers, not the shorties you have on your s50/s52), and an aftermarket steering wheel... also debaffled the air filter housing and removed the snorkel.
I'm not nearly done yet, rear suspension is next, I'm contemplating about getting either leather seats for a bit of comfort, or bucket seats for added support when thrashing about.
I'm also thinking diy turbo, and lots more... in time, in my own (unorthodox) way.
Here's some pics from october or so, after installing coilovers...
When I picked the car up, it looked like this;
Here is how the car sounded with the stock exhaust (previous owner had two pipes welded on, which over time resulted in a huge hole rusted right beneath them LOL), friend of mine driving it out the workshop at my work:
And here it is now, after the M3 pipes where installed, and I let it idle for 30 minutes after putting the battery back on (hence the SMOKE, haha):
