diff rumble?

Hello, my first post, and a question:

I have a 2000 328CI, 102k miles, and lately I've noticed a rumble from the rearend on hard acceleration in 2d gear. It is getting louder and I wonder if the propeller disc is going, or if anyone has any other ideas. I'm pretty sure it's not the diff, as I've changed fluids over the years and there is no noise of any kind on tight turns, or at speed.

Its probably the universal joint, the one that joins the diff and prop together.
