 brake or suspension noise? 540i
I have a noise coming from the left front of my 99 540i. I just replaced the rotors and pads with Bembro rotors and ceramic pads. There is a clicking or thumping sound coming out of the left front. I put the old rotors and pads back on to no avail.The tires were also changed, but it did it on both sets of tires.
Everything was tight no rubbing etc. The brakes work fine no squeals,pulls etc. I don't think this noise was there prior to the new brake job. This is odd, because I can't find anything wrong! It only does this on med to hard braking above 10MPH..car has 78,000 miles on it. Anyone else heard of this issue?
