Brake Sensor

I changed both brake sensors in my 2002 318i. However, the light is not resetting. Is there any other trigger that will keep the light on?

The light may need a reset tool or code reader to turn it off.

Normally you

1. Turn key forward until power comes on (just short of starting)
2. Let sit for 2 mins.
3. Turn off.

When you restart, the light should be off.

I think this is exactly what I have to do to reset my codes. For the wheel sensors what exactly are you looking for?

Hey thanks much for the assistance. I turned the key to position 2 and it reset after 30secs.
