| bmw z3 convertible roof problems
hi
i recently bought a 1999 t ref z3 2.8 roadster, happy with the car but some issues with the electric roof, basically i was told i had to have my foot on the brake, push the roof back manually to engage the sensors and then the motor will take the roof back, this seems to work intermittently, sometime i have to really push the roof back hard to the point where my shoulder is about to dislocate in order for the motor to cut in, also on two occasions it has refused to come back up..... any ideas?
