| hello everyone...new to the forum and really thinking about getting my first Bimmer...first let me say I am looking at a 2002 540i with manual tranny, i have 2 that i seen and would like some help on which one i should lean towards... 1)9,400 has 130.000 blk on blk clean carfax but it doesn't tell if any real work was done on car... 2)7,991 has 164,000 but has some dinan parts installed on it and it has a clean carfax and shows that some parts have been replaced: Valve cover gasket replaced, Fuel filter replaced Water pump replaced, Intake manifold gasket replaced, Washer pump replaced, and Brakes replaced.... all have been done after 100,000 miles... i will be calling dealership tomorrow to see what dinan parts were added it says dinan 5 but don't know what that means...I thought there was on 3 parts to dinan... |
