Hey folks...just stopping in for the first time here at BIMMERWERKZ. I just recently bought myself a 1997 BMW 740iL, first one ever and i'm excited to see how far i can get with this ride. I have had it for about 2 months now and come across my first real problem...power steering leak. BAD!!! Leak. No biggy thou crackin down this weekend and fixing it. I'm hoping it's just the hoses..but will see. Kool to be a BIMMER RIDER now, so i'll post pics and updates on the project soon.

When my E30 had a power steering leak, it turned out to be those hoses. Just all cracked and leaking like sponges.

Yeah, no kidding!! They leak like crazy and make a mess out of the underside. Priced out the house and it's gonna cost me around 80 bills. I'm thinking of just swapping out both of them and that will run me around 130.00. Gotta get it done....come early saturday morning. Wrench in one hand and cup of coffee in the other.
