Thanks so much for your advice on this fourm.
I've worked on a 95 320i no motor and installed a 94 325i over the winter in my garage. Bought the car for $1000 and motor/tranny $1500. The car had a $3200 Stereo install, so I think I did prety good on the deal.
I think I've checked every circut fuse/relay in the car. Finaly I found your post by jllphan the other day...

huh? Bypassing EWS is simple as pie. All you have to do is cut the green wire (#7) under one of the two DIN plugs. Give me a sec, I'll draw you a diagram.

1. Unscrew this termninal
2. Peel off the rubber boot on top of the DIN plug.
3. Clip the solid green wire (Labled #7)
4. You're all good!

You are a life saver! I was frustrated beyond belief!!!
My wire wasn't green but I cut the wire at pin 7 and it worked!
